Before the advent of cable TV (after I went off to college), we had four TV channels to choose from. The three networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) and PBS. We watched PBS quite a bit: Bob Ross and his 'happy little tree' paintings, Monty Python's Flying Circus, and Julia Child. I think as children, my sister and I thought these three were all comedies. Regardless, Julia and I share a birthday so that in itself attracts me to her...as far as Julie...I'll get to know her after I finish my cancer-surviving, drug-kicking, Iditarod-winning story of Lance Mackey.
